This mint raspberry martini is very refreshing and a great cocktail to enjoy with friends or just sit and sip to wind down after a long day. We even had someone tell us this was the best drink they have ever had!

The raspberries give it such a bright and fresh flavor, you can strain them out and still get the awesome flavor or you can leave them in if you like little bits to munch on in your drink 😀.

Can I use vodka instead of gin?

You totally can!

Do I have to use raspberry liqueur?

It would alter the taste of the drink completely to leave it out so we definitely recommend using it.

Place 3 fresh raspberries and 4-6 mint leaves in a cocktail shaker and muddle until the raspberries are broken up and the mint is fragrant.

Add 2 ounces gin, 1 ounce raspberry liqueur, 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice and a handful of ice, shake for about 30 seconds or until very cold.

Pour through a cocktail strainer into a chilled (optional) martini glass. Top with 3 ounces sparkling water (chilled) garnish with raspberries and mint on a cocktail pick if desired.

Tip: You can use a mesh strainer for a clear drink or a regular cocktail strainer if you want some of the raspberry pieces in your drink.

  • Cocktail strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 3 fresh Raspberries
  • 4-6 Mint leaves
  • 2 ounces Gin
  • 1 ounce Raspberry liqueur
  • ½ ounce Fresh lime juice
  • 1 handful Ice cubes
  • 3 ounces Plain sparkling water (unsweetened) chilled

Instructions
 

  • Put the raspberries and and mint in the cocktail shaker and muddle until the raspberries are broken up and the mint is fragrant.
  • Add the gin, liqueur, lime juice and ice. Shake for about 30 seconds or until very cold. Pour through a cocktail strainer* into a chilled (optional) martini glass. Top with the sparkling water. Garnish with raspberries and mint on a cocktail pick if desired.
