Ingredients

  • 4 ¼ pound Beef patties or size of choice
  • 4 medium Jalapeños
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4 slices Medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 sticks Bacon cooked crispy
  • 6 Tablespoons Whipped cream cheese spread
  • 4 Tablespoons Raspberry jam/fruit spread
  • Lettuce
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Mayo
  • 4 Whole wheat hamburger buns toasted or grilled

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to high heat.
  • Cut the tops off the jalapenos, cut in half and remove the seeds. Toss with enough oil to lightly coat them. Grill on high heat for about 3 minutes per side or until they are slightly softened and you have some nice grill marks. Remove from the grill, slice when they are cooled a bit.
  • Season both sides of the burger patties with salt and pepper. Grill the patties on high heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness (this will depend on the thickness of your patties and your grill) place 1 slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking. Transfer to a plate to rest for a few minutes.
  • Spread about 1.5-2 Tablespoons of cream cheese spread on the bottom bun then add a generous amount of raspberry jam, top with the jalapenos, burger patty, bacon and lettuce. Spread the top bun with mayo before placing it on top.
