Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Granulated garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon Granulated Onion
  • ¼ teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 4 slices Smoked Gouda cheese all natural
  • 4 Tablespoons Cherry fruit spread low or no sugar added
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sriracha
  • 4 Whole wheat hamburger buns or buns of choice
  • Butter lettuce or leaf lettuce

Instructions

Make the turkey patties

  • In a small bowl whisk together the egg, salt, garlic, onion and smoked paprika. Then mix with the ground turkey.
Divide into 4 equal portions then shape into patties the same size as your bun. Pro tip: use a cookie cutter and press the meat into it to make perfect patties.
  • Cook on a preheated grill over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes per side or until a meat thermometer inserted into the middle reads at least 160° (be careful not to over cook though so they don’t dry out). Transfer the patties to a plate, place the cheese on top and cover so the cheese melts.

Toast the buns and assemble

  • Toast your buns either on the grill or in the oven on broil.
  • Spread the top and bottom bun with mayo and sriracha then place the patty on the bottom bun, spread a generous amount of cherry spread on top of the patty then add a layer of potato chips. Top with lettuce and the top bun.
